Durée : 1 h 30. Barème sur 20.
Exercice 1 (7 pts)
Soit \(f(x) = x^3 - 3x^2 - 9x + 5\).
- Calculer \(f'(x)\) et étudier son signe. (4 pts)
- Dresser le tableau de variations. (3 pts)
Correction
- \(f'(x) = 3x^2 - 6x - 9 = 3(x-3)(x+1)\) : positive hors de \([-1\,;3]\), négative entre.
- \(f\) croît jusqu'à \(f(-1) = 10\), décroît jusqu'à \(f(3) = -22\), puis croît.
Exercice 2 (6 pts)
Soit \(g(x) = \dfrac{3x - 2}{x + 2}\).
- Déterminer \(D_g\) et les asymptotes. (3 pts)
- Calculer \(g'(x)\) et donner les variations. (3 pts)
Correction
- \(D_g = \mathbb{R}\setminus\{-2\}\) ; asymptote horizontale \(y = 3\), asymptote verticale \(x = -2\).
- \(g'(x) = \dfrac{3(x+2) - (3x-2)}{(x+2)^2} = \dfrac{8}{(x+2)^2} > 0\) : \(g\) est croissante sur chaque intervalle.
Exercice 3 (7 pts)
Le bénéfice d'une entreprise est \(B(x) = -2x^2 + 160x - 1\,400\), pour \(x\in[0\,;80]\).
- Déterminer le seuil de rentabilité. (3 pts)
- Déterminer la production optimale et le bénéfice maximal. (4 pts)
Correction
- \(-2x^2 + 160x - 1\,400 = 0\), soit \(x^2 - 80x + 700 = 0\) ; \(\Delta = 6\,400 - 2\,800 = 3\,600\) : racines \(10\) et \(70\).
L'entreprise est bénéficiaire pour \(10 < x < 70\).
- \(B'(x) = -4x + 160\) s'annule en \(x = 40\) : le bénéfice maximal vaut \(B(40) = 1\,800\) dh.
