Durée : 1 h 30. Barème sur 20.
Exercice 1 (8 pts)
Soit \(f(x) = x^3 - 3x + 2\).
- Calculer les limites en \(\pm\infty\). (2 pts)
- Calculer \(f'(x)\) et étudier son signe. (3 pts)
- Dresser le tableau de variations. (3 pts)
Correction
- \(-\infty\) en \(-\infty\) et \(+\infty\) en \(+\infty\).
- \(f'(x) = 3x^2 - 3 = 3(x-1)(x+1)\) : positive à l'extérieur de \([-1\,;1]\), négative entre.
- \(f\) croît jusqu'à \(f(-1) = 4\), décroît jusqu'à \(f(1) = 0\), puis croît.
Exercice 2 (6 pts)
Soit \(g(x) = \dfrac{2x + 3}{x - 1}\).
- Déterminer \(D_g\) et les limites aux bornes. (3 pts)
- Calculer \(g'(x)\) et donner le sens de variation. (3 pts)
Correction
- \(D_g = \mathbb{R}\setminus\{1\}\) ; limite \(2\) en \(\pm\infty\) ; \(-\infty\) en \(1^-\) et \(+\infty\) en \(1^+\).
- \(g'(x) = \dfrac{2(x-1) - (2x+3)}{(x-1)^2} = \dfrac{-5}{(x-1)^2} < 0\) : \(g\) est décroissante sur chaque intervalle.
Exercice 3 (6 pts)
Soit \(h(x) = x + \dfrac1x\) sur \(]0\,;+\infty[\).
- Calculer \(h'(x)\) et étudier son signe. (3 pts)
- En déduire le minimum de \(h\). (2 pts)
- Déterminer l'asymptote oblique en \(+\infty\). (1 pt)
Correction
- \(h'(x) = 1 - \dfrac1{x^2} = \dfrac{x^2-1}{x^2}\) : négative sur \(]0\,;1[\), positive sur \(]1\,;+\infty[\).
- Minimum \(h(1) = 2\).
- \(h(x) - x = \dfrac1x \to 0\) : la droite \(y = x\) est asymptote oblique.
