1. Équation \(y' = ay + b\)
Les solutions de \(y' = ay\) sont \(y(x) = Ce^{ax}\) (\(C\in\mathbb{R}\)). Celles de \(y' = ay + b\) (\(a\neq0\)) sont \(y(x) = Ce^{ax} - \frac{b}{a}\).
La condition \(y(x_0) = y_0\) fixe la constante \(C\).
2. Équation \(y'' + ay' + by = 0\)
Équation caractéristique : \(r^2 + ar + b = 0\), \(\Delta = a^2 - 4b\).
| \(\Delta\) | Solutions |
|---|---|
| \(\Delta > 0\), racines \(r_1\), \(r_2\) | \(y = \alpha e^{r_1x} + \beta e^{r_2x}\) |
| \(\Delta = 0\), racine \(r\) | \(y = (\alpha x + \beta)e^{rx}\) |
| \(\Delta < 0\), racines \(p\pm iq\) | \(y = e^{px}(\alpha\cos qx + \beta\sin qx)\) |
3. Applications en physique
- Décharge d'un condensateur : \(RC\,u' + u = 0\), d'où \(u(t) = Ee^{-\frac{t}{RC}}\).
- Oscillateur : \(x'' + \omega_0^2x = 0\), d'où \(x(t) = X_m\cos(\omega_0t + \varphi)\).
Exemple
\(y'' - 4y = 0\) : \(r = \pm2\), \(y = \alpha e^{2x} + \beta e^{-2x}\).
