Exercice 1
Sur \(\mathbb{R}\), on définit \(a * b = a + b - 3\). Montrer que \((\mathbb{R}, *)\) est un groupe commutatif.
Correction
Interne et commutative évidemment. Associative : \((a * b) * c = a + b + c - 6 = a * (b * c)\). Neutre : \(a + e - 3 = a\), \(e = 3\). Symétrique : \(a + a' - 3 = 3\), \(a' = 6 - a\).
Exercice 2
Sur \(I = ]1 ; +\infty[\), on pose \(x * y = (x - 1)(y - 1) + 1\). Montrer que \(f(x) = x - 1\) est un isomorphisme de \((I, *)\) sur \((]0 ; +\infty[, \times)\) et en déduire que \((I, *)\) est un groupe commutatif.
Correction
\(f\) est une bijection de \(I\) sur \(]0 ; +\infty[\), et \(f(x * y) = (x - 1)(y - 1) = f(x)f(y)\). Comme \((]0 ; +\infty[, \times)\) est un groupe commutatif, \((I, *)\) aussi (neutre \(2\), symétrique \(1 + \frac{1}{x - 1}\)).
Exercice 3
Montrer que \(H = \{e^{i\frac{2k\pi}{3}} : k\in\mathbb{Z}\}\) est un sous-groupe de \((\mathbb{U}, \times)\).
Correction
\(H\neq\emptyset\) et pour \(a = e^{i\frac{2k\pi}{3}}\), \(b = e^{i\frac{2m\pi}{3}}\) : \(ab^{-1} = e^{i\frac{2(k - m)\pi}{3}}\in H\).
Exercice 4
On note \(M(a, b) = \begin{pmatrix} a & -b \\ b & a \end{pmatrix}\) et \(E = \{M(a, b) : (a, b)\in\mathbb{R}^2\}\). Montrer que \(E\) est stable par le produit matriciel.
Correction
\(M(a, b)M(c, d) = \begin{pmatrix} ac - bd & -(ad + bc) \\ ad + bc & ac - bd \end{pmatrix} = M(ac - bd, ad + bc)\in E\).
