Durée : 2 heures. Barème sur 20. Logarithme népérien, nombres complexes.
Exercice 1 (11 pts)
Soit \(f(x) = x - 1 - \ln x\) sur \(]0\,;+\infty[\).
- Calculer \(\lim_{x\to0^+}f(x)\) et \(\lim_{x\to+\infty}f(x)\).
- Étudier les variations de \(f\) et en déduire que \(\ln x\le x - 1\) pour tout \(x > 0\).
- Résoudre : \(\ln(x + 1) + \ln(x - 1) = \ln3\).
Correction
- \(\lim_{0^+}f = +\infty\) ; \(f(x) = x\left(1 - \frac1x - \frac{\ln x}{x}\right)\to+\infty\).
- \(f'(x) = 1 - \frac1x = \frac{x - 1}{x}\) : décroissante sur \(]0\,;1]\), croissante sur \([1\,;+\infty[\), minimum \(f(1) = 0\). Donc \(f(x)\ge0\), soit \(\ln x\le x - 1\).
- Condition \(x > 1\) ; \(\ln(x^2 - 1) = \ln3\) donne \(x^2 = 4\), \(x = 2\).
Exercice 2 (9 pts)
- Écrire sous forme algébrique : \(z_1 = (2 + i)(1 - 3i)\) et \(z_2 = \frac{1 + i}{1 - i}\).
- Écrire \(z_3 = 1 + i\sqrt3\) sous forme trigonométrique puis calculer \(z_3^6\).
- Résoudre dans \(\mathbb{C}\) : \(z^2 - 2z + 5 = 0\).
Correction
- \(z_1 = 2 - 6i + i + 3 = 5 - 5i\) ; \(z_2 = \frac{(1 + i)^2}{2} = i\).
- \(|z_3| = 2\), \(\arg z_3\equiv\frac\pi3\) : \(z_3 = 2\left(\cos\frac\pi3 + i\sin\frac\pi3\right)\). \(z_3^6 = 2^6(\cos2\pi + i\sin2\pi) = 64\).
- \(\Delta = 4 - 20 = -16 = (4i)^2\) : \(z = 1 - 2i\) ou \(z = 1 + 2i\).
