Exercice 1
- \(P_1\) : « \(\exists x\in\mathbb{R},\ x^2 = -1\) »
- \(P_2\) : « \(\forall x\in\mathbb{R},\ \exists y\in\mathbb{R},\ x + y = 0\) »
- \(P_3\) : « \(\forall n\in\mathbb{N},\ n^2\ge n\) »
Correction
- Fausse. \(\overline{P_1}\) : \(\forall x\in\mathbb{R},\ x^2\neq-1\).
- Vraie (\(y = -x\)). \(\overline{P_2}\) : \(\exists x\in\mathbb{R},\ \forall y\in\mathbb{R},\ x + y\neq0\).
- Vraie (\(n^2 - n = n(n - 1)\ge0\) pour \(n\in\mathbb{N}\)). \(\overline{P_3}\) : \(\exists n\in\mathbb{N},\ n^2 < n\).
Exercice 2
Montrer par contraposée que, pour tous réels \(x\) et \(y\) : \((x\neq2 \text{ et } y\neq2) \Rightarrow xy - 2x - 2y + 4\neq0\).
Correction
Contraposée : \(xy - 2x - 2y + 4 = 0 \Rightarrow (x = 2 \text{ ou } y = 2)\). Or \(xy - 2x - 2y + 4 = (x - 2)(y - 2)\) ; un produit nul a au moins un facteur nul : \(x = 2\) ou \(y = 2\).
Exercice 3
Montrer par l'absurde que \(\sqrt2\) est irrationnel.
Correction
Correction
Si \(n\) est pair, \(n = 2k\) et \(n^2 + n = 2k(2k + 1)\) est pair. Si \(n\) est impair, \(n = 2k + 1\) et \(n^2 + n = (2k + 1)(2k + 2) = 2(2k + 1)(k + 1)\) est pair.
Exercice 6
Montrer que pour tout \(x\in\mathbb{R}\) : \(|x - 1|\le x^2 - x + 1\).
Correction
Si \(x\ge1\) : il faut \(x - 1\le x^2 - x + 1\), soit \(x^2 - 2x + 2 = (x - 1)^2 + 1 > 0\) : vrai. Si \(x < 1\) : il faut \(1 - x\le x^2 - x + 1\), soit \(0\le x^2\) : vrai.
